Lawrence Hart’s debut EP ‘Surrender Yourself’ earned a Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’, continued support across Radio 1 (Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Annie Nightingale, Jack Saunders, Jaguar), 6Music, Radio 1 Dance, Kiss FM, Rinse FM and international specialist radio.

His tracks have seen props from peers such as Martin Garrix, Judge Jules, Anja Schneider, Sasha, Sub Focus, Sister Bliss and Dixon, whilst receiving continued support from the likes of Ministry of Sound, Anjunadeep and Toolroom.

April 2022 will see Lawrence release his first EP on his own record label. Both the EP and the label are named after the Small-Scale Experimental Machine, the world’s first stored-program computer. A machine that Lawrence’s Grandfather developed, working alongside the likes of Alan Turing. It was the same Grandfather who gifted Lawrence his first musical instrument as a child, handing down a love for organic instrumentation and a passion for technology, a symbiosis encapsulated in Lawrence’s music.

A classically-trained, multi-instrumentalist with a broad spectrum of influences, Lawrence Hart has worked with some of the most exciting names in electronic music.

2021 saw collaborations with the likes of Alan Fitzpatrick (alongside a Camelphat remix) and Model Man.Last year also saw Lawrence provide remixes for the likes of Lau.ra and The Sanctuary, whilst 2022 kicked off with a remix for Foals.

Previously supporting artists such as George Fitzgerald and Model Man live, and DJing for the likes of Hotflush at venues including the Berghain, Berlin.
